Britain's biggest leaf spring 4x4 RTV trial is back for 2022 and more than half the 30 trials places have already been booked!
The 2022 Patina National RTV will be held near picturesque Helmsley in North Yorkshire, for the fifth year running, in conjunction with Classic Land Rover Magazine.
We have a trials site and a campsite for the 2022 Patina National RTV trial on Saturday September 17th!
The Patina National RTV is for non-shiny, road legal, leaf-sprung Land Rovers - there are standard and modified classes for different wheelbases - and as usual will be a camping weekend and an eight-section RTV trial.
Patina National RTV trials classes will be as follows;
Leaf springs 'up to 87in', 'over 87in' and '95in and over'.
Door tops not required, seat belts (minimum lap belt), hood sticks and windscreens required. Standard and modified classes will - likely as not - be amalgamated.
Drivers must be in an MSA-registered club and bring their membership card and MSUK licence to prove it. Scrutineering to MSA regs. Land Rovers, Jeeps, Suzukis etc welcome.
There are trophies for the three trials classes as well as Spirit of the Event (for the entrant who most enters into the spirit of the event) and a couple of others, like Long Distance.
We are also holding an RTV on Sunday 18th so there’s scope to enter two trials in one weekend or drive a couple of local scenic green lanes.
The standard RTV will be run on the Sunday in a similar format so anyone who wishes to enter both events is welcome to do so, but be aware that the course may be slightly more challenging on the second day.
The weekend camp site in the village of Nawton, offering you the chance to explore this beautiful area, on and off-road, compete in the trial and join in with a sociable evening of barbecues, drinks and camaraderie.
Please note all bookings must be done online ahead of time, and will update everyone with any new information as we get nearer the event.

Due to the adverse weather conditions we have had recently, the trial set for 04th March 2018 is being postponed.

We will try and organise the event for another weekend as soon as possible.

The club presentation evening is on 17th Feb, if you haven’t returned your booking form yet these need to be back by 06th Feb or bring them to the committee meeting on Monday.
